Whiskas meets whisky

Nine cats are competing for a job hunting mice at Scotland's oldest working distillery. One of the lucky candidates will be picked to follow in the paw- prints of Towser, a record-breaking mouser who worked at the Glenturret Distillery in Crieff, Perthshire. The chosen cat will have a hard act to follow; Towser, a tortoiseshell, caught almost 30,000 mice in her 24-year lifetime, earning herself a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. The finalists will be assessed by distillery staff and members of the Cat Protection League.

Kilenc macska verseng, hogy ő legyen Skócia egyik legöregebb whisky-lepárlójának fő egérfogója. Csak egyikük lesz érdemes arra, hogy kövesse a híres, minden egérfogási rekordot megdöntő Towser-t ebben a munkakörben, Crieff városka Glenturret lepárlóüzemében. A kiválasztott macskának eléggé nehéz dolga lesz, hiszen a cirmos Towser csaknem 30.000 egeret fogott életének 24 éve alatt. Ezzel a teljesítménnyel még a Guiness Book-ba is bekerült mint rekorder. A döntőbe jutott macskák közül a nyertest a lepárlóüzem dolgozói és a "Macska Védő Liga" választja ki.
